Program Requirements & Preparation

Language Requirements

Basic French (A2 level) – While our instructors speak English, having some French basics helps you connect with local participants. Don't worry though! We're not expecting fluency, and many of our trainers speak English quite well.

English for instruction – Our primary training materials and specialized sessions are available in English. Most communication during international sessions happens in English, so you'll feel right at home.

Language support available – We offer supplementary French phrases specific to fitness and wellness. These mini-lessons happen before training sessions and are actually quite fun – I've seen friendships form just from language practice!

Health Documentation

Fitness assessment form – Complete our standard health questionnaire before arrival. This helps us tailor the program to your specific needs.

Health insurance coverage – Proof of health insurance that covers your stay in France. We can suggest affordable options if needed.

Medical clearance – For intensive programs, a doctor's note confirming you can participate in physical activities. Better safe than sorry!

    Just arrived from halfway across the world? Been there! Our program allows for gradual adjustment during your first week, with options for morning or afternoon sessions to match your energy levels.

  • Multilingual Resources

    Key training materials are available in several languages, and we're constantly adding more. Currently we support English, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Arabic, and of course, French.

  • Buddy System

    We'll pair you with a local participant who can help you navigate both the program and the city of Le Mans. Many of these pairings turn into lasting friendships.

Beyond fitness, we organize optional weekend activities to help you experience French culture:

  • Group cooking lessons featuring healthy French cuisine

Practical Information

Accommodation Options

We've partnered with several housing providers near our facility:

  • Shared apartments with other international students
  • Homestay with French families (great for language practice!)
  • Independent studio apartments
  • Short-term hotel arrangements

Prices range from €30-80 per night depending on your preference. Just let us know what works for your budget and we'll suggest options.

Transportation in Le Mans

Getting around is pretty straightforward, even if you're new to the city:

  • Our facility is a 10-minute walk from the tramway station "Université"
  • City buses run every 15 minutes during weekdays
  • Bicycle rentals available through our partner program (€5/day)
  • Walking-friendly routes to major attractions and shopping areas

We'll provide a transportation guide upon registration, with a map highlighting the easiest routes to our facility.
