Transforming Lives Through Fitness

Vitalrootscollective began with a simple idea — fitness should be accessible to everyone.

Back in 2015, I started Vitalrootscollective from a tiny studio in Le Mans. We've grown since then, but our heart's still the same — we believe health isn't just about looking good, it's about feeling good and living better.

We're not your typical health platform. We blend traditional fitness concepts with modern science to create something that actually works for real people with real lives.

Our Approach

Vitalrootscollective fitness philosophy in action

Our Philosophy

At Vitalrootscollective, we've built everything around three core principles:

Accessibility — Fitness shouldn't be exclusive. That's why we've designed programs that work for all ages, body types, and fitness levels.

Community — Going it alone is tough. Our approach creates connections between members who lift each other up. Some of my best friends came from our community!

Sustainability — We're not about quick fixes or trends. We're after lasting changes that become part of your life. Remember those fad diets from the 90s? Yeah, we don't do that.

Sophie Bertrand

Founder & Lead Trainer

Sophie founded Vitalrootscollective after 10 years as a professional athlete. Her passion? Making fitness work for everyday people. She still teaches three classes a week because, as she says, "connecting with our community keeps me grounded."

Thomas Moreau - Nutrition Director

Thomas Moreau

Nutrition Director

Thomas joined us in 2017 with a radical idea: what if healthy food actually tasted good? His balanced approach focuses on sustainable eating habits rather than restrictive diets. "Food should bring joy, not stress," he always reminds us.

Marie Laurent

Community Manager

Marie is the heart of our community. She's been with us since day one and knows every member by name. "Building connections is just as important as building muscle," she believes. When not at Vitalrootscollective, you'll find her hiking with her dog.
